CR3000 and AM416

Gigcoyle Jul 2, 2013 11:16 AM

We've recently upgraded from using 21X's and 23X to some CR3000's - we have several old peripherals and I'd like to be able to use an AM416 multiplexor. Can anyone advise me if this is possible with the CR3000 and if so send me some sample CRBasic code to do so?
Thanks

The program examples in the AM16/32A manual for the multiplexer, set in four wire mode, will generally work.

See: http://s.campbellsci.com/documents/us/manuals/am16-32a.pdf

These are similar to some of the examples in the AM16/32B except that model also supports a new method of jumping to specific channels which was not supported in the older models.

Make sure any delays after clocking the AM416 are at least 20 ms, as the relays were a little slower.

Brilliant thanks, I'll give that a go
