LI7500A programming

Berni Jun 7, 2013 01:28 PM

Hello,

I have in the field one Eddy covariance equipment composed by CR3000, Licor LI-7500 (open path infrared gas analyzer CO2 and H2O) and three dimensional sonic anemometer (CSAT3). Now in my CR basic program I use the sentence "CS7500 (co2_raw,1,7,6)".

I like to change the LI7500 (old) by LI7500A (new) and continue using the same program, but does not read well. The measurement rate used in program file by CR3000 is 10 Hz.

Where is the problem?. I would be very grateful that I could help me.

The same instruction should work. I would suggest you check the LI7500A is setup correctly for SDM, that it has the latest firmware in it and also that the SDM cables are not too long.

Ok, I will checking.
But I have connected the LI7500A to a Pc with RS232 cable, and I used the Licor software the signal is ok.

I solved the problem. I configured SDM address in LI-7500A.
Thanks.

The old instruction works fine but it is interesting if we could use a new instruction for the Li-7500A instead of the CS7500, like the instruction of the Li-7200 which give to us more possibilities as analog outputs (sonic anemometer) from the Li-7550 interface.
