Date Format

etrodg May 27, 2013 07:10 PM

Hello

I am using the 'Create New File Name' option in the file output option of LoggerNet. I was wondering if there is a way to format the date like this - “_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.dat"

The current default is: "YYYY_MM_DD_HHMM.dat"

Thanks!

Evan

LoggerNet does not, at present, provide any means of customising the format of the time stamp included in the file name when the "Create Unique File Name" option is selected for a table. That said, it is probably possible to define a task in LoggerNet that will get triggered when an output data file is closed that will rename the file using the desired convention.

Hello Forum,
Where is this "create Unique File Name" option? I don't see it in FS Area 1. Is it not available for array based loggers?

The timestamp used for the file name comes from collected data records. As such, this mode can only be supported for table based data loggers. You can use this mode, however, with a CR10X-TD or a CR10X-PB operating system.
