LoggerNet Remote and Windows Firewall

LarryT May 22, 2013 07:41 PM

Hi,

I am having some difficulty getting LN Remote to connect with LN Admin running on a virtual server as a service. I had to setup an inbound Windows Firewall rule to allow for data collection from the IP addresses of the remote devices so I am thinking it is a firewall issue. When going to setup a rule to allow inbound access for LN Remote though, I am unsure of the best way to do this. I tried doing one of rhte Status Monitoring program but still no luck. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I can be of no help with the firewall issue, but make sure that you have the Admin software set up to allow remote connections.

Right-click anywhere on the LoggerNet toolbar (preferably not on one of the menu items), on the General Tab, select Allow Remote Connections.
