LoggerNet Linux with TCP password

ajteck Apr 20, 2013 01:31 PM

Hello,

I’m had using a callback connection with CR1000 to Windows LoggerNet, but now I changed the server to Linux LoggerNet.

The CR1000 with TCP Password don’t connect more in our server. In the log I’m getting this messages:

"9:50:09 AM","XXXXXX","F","PakBus/TCP Client Disconnected","XX.XX.XX.XX","4343","PakBus/TCP authentication failed","an invalid challenge authentication was received"

"9:55:07 AM","XXXXXX","F","PakBus/TCP Client Disconnected","XX.XX.XX.XX","4344","PakBus/TCP authentication failed","authentication timed out waiting for the challenge"

The CR1000 with no TCP Password connected normally.

The setup is the same in both servers.

My linux a openSUSE 12.2 (Mantis) (x86_64).

Have someone get this situation?

Best Regards,

Andre Joao Telocken.

I would verify that the password in the datalogger settings (accessed using devconfig) and the LoggerNet settings (accessed through the setup screen are exactly the same. I just tried connecting using LoggerNet on debian and saw no problem provided the passwords matched.

Hi,

Thanks for anwered me. See below my additional information:

I get a connection to the datalogger using the devconfig, with the IP address and the TCP Password.
I get the connection with the LoggerNet to the datalogger, when I start the connection from the LoggerNet, using IPPort -> PakBusPort. On IPPort I put the IP address and on PakBusPort I put the TCP Password.
But I can't use this option normally because the IP Address of the datalogger is dynamic and so I need to use the callback.

I had double check the TCP Password and on the LoggerNet and on the datalogger is the same.

Best Regards,

André João Telöcken.
