I have GPS transmitters which output data in NEMA 2000 specified CANBUS messages. Some of the PGNs (129029 for example) seem to occupy more than 8 bytes. Does anyone have experience collecting data using an SDMCAN and a GPS antenna outputing CAN based data streams?
I am currently using a CR1000 and would normally consider collecting the data via the antenna's serial output but I have all the CR1000 serial ports used for other functions.
