PakBus over Non-Campbell Radios?

Is it possible to use PakBus over a wireless radio network using non-CSI spread spectrum radios? I have 4 Digi International XTend spread spectrum radios and would like to use them to connect three CR800 based weather stations to a base station. Will PakBus work over this connections?
