XxVashxX Feb 28, 2013 05:04 PM

Hello friends

Could help me with this:

I installed PC400, Loggernet and PC200W in my Asus Netbook (i was comparing the features of the 3 programs), the 3 programs function well, but after some time Loggernet cant comunicate with the Loggers Using the port RS232, i can connect using TCPIP connection but not using RS232 direct connection, i tri to uninstall and re install the software but the problem continue, what can be?

I uninstall PC400 and PC200W to use Loggernet, but for this problem i have to use PC200W or PC400 to download data using RS232 connection (Loggernet cant connect with RS232)

Any ideas?

Thanks

I assume you are using a USB-to-RS232 Serial adapter of some kind, use Windows Device Manager to see what COM Port the adapter is using and make sure LoggerNet is trying to use the same COM Port. On some PCs I have seen adapters use different COM Ports based on the USB port used by the adapter but this is very rare. If the COM Ports are the same, try another RS232 adapter.
