Communication Problem with CR10X datalogger

AhmedAbbas Jun 30, 2009 12:19 PM

Hi!
I'm trying to connect to CR10X datalogger using loggernet V3.4.1 using direct link (serial port). Unfortunately, I cannot establish a connection. When I try to communicate directly using hyperterminal, the datalgger responds for any command. Also when I try to use the Device Configuration Utility I can connect to the datalogger as Unknown and it responds to commands properly.
Did anyone tested the same version with CR10X dataloggers?
Anyone can help?

A few things to check. Make sure Hyperterminal and DevConfig are shut down. When you connect as Unknown, DevConfig should tell you what operating system is in your CR10X. Make a note of that. In LoggerNet's Setup or EZ Setup make sure you have selected the correct CR10X type: CR10X (Array based), CR10XTD (Table Data) or PakBusPort | CR10XPB (PakBus).

Janet
