CSI Webserve updating images

bandrews Feb 19, 2013 11:30 PM

Hello,

I have an RTMC display in which I use Image controls to display .png graphic file. The files are created from data that is being collected with LoggerNet. I am also using other RTMC controls to display this data. When the data updates, a new file is created and over-writes the old file.

This works fine in RTMC runtime. When the data update, the RTMC controls display the new data, and the Image control displays the new file.

When I publish this same display to the web, the RTMC data controls update, but the Image control does not. If, however, I force the browser(Firefox) to re-load the page, the new image appears.

Is there something I am missing?

Thanks,
Bruce

I'm having a similar problem that I suspect may be loosely related. After changing the root directory and editing previously created projects, after amending some images they are displayed fine in RTMC runtime but are picking up another random image (from the root) when published and viewed through a browser. I've tried both absolute and relative paths to the image file but have the same problem - is there a cache on the server storing sources that needs updating?
I've tried three browsers and unlike Bruce, I can't get the right image with a full page refresh.

Actually, just had a thought Bruce - in the image properties you get an option of Refresh Interval in seconds - what do you have this set to?

The Refresh Interval is set to 60 seconds.
