CR1000 + NL120 / network setup issue

hkleta Jan 31, 2013 07:42 PM

Hi,

I've got a brand new CR1000 equipped with a brand new NL120.

I setup TCP/IP using the Device Configuration Utility.

So far, so straight forward, but:

When setting up IP to DHCP or to a fixed IP, I still get a message "No DNS entries" in the iptrace output, although the DNS is setup correctly and showing up correctly in the TCP/IP Info window.
I can connect to servers (FTP and eMail) using their names, so DNS seems to be working.
So where does that message come from?

Furthermore the TLS setting is always set to enable when connecting to the CR1000 with the Device Configuration Utility, although that setting should be off by default.
When I disable it, and reconnect, it is enabled again...

Should be grateful if anyone could shed some light on that behaviour.

Thans in advance,

Henry
