Card Convert Error: Decode Info line has too few fields

MarkV Jan 7, 2013 04:50 PM

I was using card convert when I received the following error. "Decode Info line has too few fields"
Repair File does not work with this error so I am wondering if there is another way to repair the files and see if there is any data.
The NL115 seems to be working, status light blinking red and then turned green when I pressed the "initiate removal" button.

thanks

I talked with one of our engineers, and this was the reply:

"The file header is probably corrupt and has too few fields on one or more of the header lines. There are no automatic tools to attempt repairs for this. Someone familiar with editing with a binary editor (header is in ASCII but the rest of the file is binary) may be able to repair the header or use a header from a good file (same table) but this takes some know how. This is more complicated with TOB3 files than TOB1 files. "

It's possible that we might be able to repair the file, if we had an example of a "good file". If you would like to pursue this, please contact your Campbell Scientific support channel.
