Program to communicate with CR1000 via HP48G calculator?

Are you aware of a way to communicate with my CR1000 datalogger via my HP48G calculator?

I found this website (http://www.hpcalc.org/hp48/utils/comms/)and was wondering if a program could be made on my calculator so that I can use the HP48G like a keyboard display to send commands and view data on the datalogger.
