Reset record number at midnight?

I'm new to CRBasic. I have a CR1000 data logger and I have an application that I'm writing that uploads table files via FTP and deletes the files after uploading. I would like to be able to reset the file number back to 1 at midnight of each day in order to reset the filename count back to 1. Is there a way to do this?
