Timestamp in UTC

WayneJacob Nov 13, 2012 11:37 PM

I want to have the data tables record the timestamp in UTC but am unsure how to do this. Should I simply be setting the logger time to UTC in the Device Configuration Utility?

Or should I be using the local time as it will be able to update the logger clock when I connect to it with my PC. Then add the offset in the Device Configuration Utility, and adjust for DST using DaylightSavings code in the program? (Does this output UTC?)

Any suggestions? I prefer being able to update the clock using my PC, so the second option is prefered if it works that way.

LoggerNet's Setup window has the option to use GMT -- Options menu, LoggerNet Clock Settings.
