We're running a CR800 with a main/backup connection setup. The primary connection is via IP on the CS I/O port (this is obviously very simplified) and via a serial (dial-up) on the RS232.
The problem we've encountered (which we cannot replicate reliably) is that the dial-up connection gets 'stuck'. Because of a limitation in the IP side which means we cannot initiate incoming connections (hence having a dual connection setup) we ended up in a situation where the CR800 would never be reachable as the serial connection would stay up.
I know this is a bit vague, but has anyone used this kind of setup before?
