RF232 RF Base Station

Hello Forum,
Can anyone verify if an RF232 is compatible with Win7 64bit via a USB to Serial converter? This set up works on my Win7 32bit box but not so much on a 64bit - or so it seems.

Please check you have the latest drivers for your USB to Serial convertor this is the most likely explanation of the difference.

Thanks, I checked that and updated the driver. It's weird and it's probably a local machine/user error. I get the following message when I try to connect to a station that is called from the RF232 base station:

Failure: 8/29/2012 07:23:15.547
Dialing failed
Failure: 8/29/2012 07:23:30.122
No prompt from the modem
Failure: 8/29/2012 07:23:44.698
No prompt from the modem
Failure: 8/29/2012 07:23:44.698
Dialing failed

Hello APS,
Thanks for your thoughts on this. The whole story is that I copied the network from one computer to another and didn't verify the port settings were correct on the new machine. Once I did this, connection went as expected.
