Run-time crashing

AMK Aug 27, 2012 07:39 PM

Hi,
I have about 10 RTMC pro runtime apps running on a Windows 7 machine. About once a week a few of them crash. When this happens, the run-time window closes and the RTMC dev Pro window opens. When I relaunch the Run-time, it crashes after a few seconds. Is there a way to determine what is going on and how to fix the situation?

Update: After the run-time crashes, it loads the RTMC-Pro Dev, when you click the live data button, RTMC-Pro Dev crashes (aka stops working).

Thanks,
AMK

The first things to do are:

Make sure your versions of RTMC products "match" (same version for run-time and developer)

If there is a free upgrade available for your version, download it from our web site

If the problem continues, it is something that is specific to your project. You'll need to contact your country's Campbell Scientific office and provide them with a copy of the project to examine.

Thanks Dana,
I'm moving LN4 to a new more powerful machine in hopes that might fix the issue. I'll check your tips to make sure the computer is set up correctly.

Thanks again,
AMK
