Combining Network Descriptions

wx2day Aug 1, 2012 03:18 PM

To CSI User Forum:

I have two CSI servers running two different networks.
After speaking with a CSI Sales Engineer, they said it was ok to combine the two into one network description and run on one server. What would be the easiest way to accomplish this task?

Thank You,
Wx2day

From the LoggerNet Setup Standard View Help:
A device can be copied by selecting the device and pressing Ctrl-C, then pressing Ctrl-V at the position you wish the device to be copied to. Device branches can be copied by selecting the top device in the branch and pressing Shift-Ctrl-C, then pressing Ctrl-V at the position you wish the branch to be copied to. Note that when pasting a root device, you must have a root device selected in your network. The root device being pasted will be inserted in your network below the selected root device.

You can copy and paste into a text editor, then copy and paste from that text file into a new or separate Setup.

I hope that helps. Let me know if I misunderstood your question.
