Memory Failure

Scott May 27, 2009 12:05 AM

Hello

I am trying to load a program on a CR1000 and keep getting the following error when the CR1000 tries to compile it.

memfail3
Memory Failure

Anyone have an idea on what is going on?

Thanks is advance

That message is generated when the logger does an occasional check of its memory status and finds something is wrong, in terms of size of heap/stack or memory pointers.

This is normally only caused by a firmware issue often uncovered by someone trying something new in the logger that has never been done before!

First though can you get the latest of release of the operating system for the logger from:

http://www.campbellsci.com/downloads

Then see if the problem persists. If it does please email a copy of the program along with details of the setup of the logger (in particular does it have an NL115 or TCP/IP connection active) to your local support contact at Campbell Scientific.
