Short Cut Program Won't Compile

Scott May 25, 2009 09:36 PM

Hello all,

I have a short cut program that I had to make a few modifications to. However, I can't get it to compile for use on a CR1000. Short Cut reports the that a file called Windson.scs cannot be found. I've manually looked for the file, and it isn't there. I've tried short cut versions 2.5 up to 2.7 with the same results. If you haven't guessed, this is for a Gill Windsonic Wind speed and direction sensor. The sensor is coupled with a CS215 temperture and humidity probe with SDI12 output. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks
Scott

The Windsonic sensor files were removed from Shortcut because of an issue with users not being able to log the sensor diagnostics and track faults.

However, a workaround to this was sorted recently so the sensor will reappear in Shortcut soon. If you email you local support office and request the windson.scs file they should be able to provide you with an advance copy.

Also as we now offer two versions of the sensors (RS232 or SDI-12) there are two different file versions. You may need to re-enter the Windsonic sensor entry to ensure you pick up the right one.
