PWM output after every scan

After every scan I need to drive a servo motor connected to a wiper. I tried this using the PWM command at the end of the scan. It works, but only for the first scan. Every other scan nothing happens.

The help files say the PWM funtion is independent of the scan which is probably the cause. Any ideas on how to get around this?
