CR1000 Modem Connection

Hi,

I try to connect a CR1000 with a Cinterion T63i modem.
If I dial in I can see the RING in a sniffer program. But the logger won't answer. If I set up a PPP connection I can see that the AT commands are executed and a bunch of binary characters are exchanged. In the end I recieve a URC from the modem saying NO CARRIER.
