help with warning message

TaCaPica Mar 22, 2012 03:45 PM

Hi

i reprogrammed my CR1000 remotly, but after compiling the program it gave me a warning message:

"Warning: Internal data storage memory was re-inicialized"

I read the manual (sec.19 pag 416)but i didnt take much of it (basically stayed the same!!!)
Another thing, when i go to file control i can't see the cpu and crd. the only thing i get is cpu with all the memory.

I have in the field a CR1000 with a NL115 that has a 2Gb card and that switches data with 2 other loggers through ethernet
I link myself to the logger with a GSM modem.

Before i reprogram my station i always stop the program and format the CPU and the CRD to garanty that i dont have issues with the CRD card.

I think that my logger is working properly but i have to be sure because the site is remote and im starting a measure campain soon.

The message is an indication that the data tables have been recreated (and thus, all historical data is gone).

But is it normal?

i've done several reprogrammings before and this never happend.........

could it be a logger or a NL115 problem?

This message is only seen if you send or restart programs a certain way - normally via the file control options to start/stop a program or loading the program from the editor. If you send the program from the connect screen the message is not seen.

This may explain why you have not seen the message before.

The message itself is normal. It is telling you the logger had to reconfigure (and therefore wipe) its memory, which happens in most circumstances and always happens if you send the program from the connect screen.
