Modem 9522 Hiperterminal Windons XP

Hi, I have a 9522b modem iridium'm trying to communicate with it via the Windows Hyperterminal, but without success .... I am using the C2462 interface CHECKLIST .. I'm calling on pins and DPL DPL-TX-RX and 0v ..... the modem when I get the message below ....

I have to use the C2462 interface???

Because it sends a message when I turn up and do not responte commands Ats ... already tested the RX signal from the receiving modem is ok ...

Page 8, step 2.2.1, it says to connect the C2462 between your computer and the modem.

Check all your communication settings in Hyperterminal to make sure they are correct.

SIM pin lock?

Sorry, I'm not using the C2462 interface, the question would be the 9522B modem responte Ats commands without the use of interfaces.

I am connecting the modem directly to the PC does not respond more commands ... the pins are already tested it with certain speeds all bauts Raute.

We connected computers directly to the modem (without interface) without a problem.

I would check your wiring, the Tx from the modem to Rx on the computer must be okay, but maybe the Tx from the computer to Rx on the modem is incorrect. so you can see what the modem is outputting, but the modem does not receive your AT commands.

Have you checked your wiring against the manual from here

The cables are correct, 26-pin connector:

Modem 9522
DPL-TX - PIN 10 - PC - RX
DPL-RX - PIN 14 - PC -TX
DTR-DF - PIN 12 - PC -DSR
DF-RTS - PINO15 - PC - CTS
DF-CTS - PIN 18 - PC - RTS
0v - GND PIN 20 - PC - GND - 5

Pin 1 is off - 26-pin connector ..

When I turn on the modem I get the message
