Is there any way to re-activate the screen and check the values CR1000KD real-time recorder, as was mistakenly set off the display and now every time I connect to the same record only shows the initial screen. When connecting to other dataloggers the CR1000KD can view all the menus normally.
As I can activate the CR1000KD and configuration using CR1000? .. I have reviewed the latest version of the manual CR1000 and have not found answer to this problem.

I am having a hard time undertanding your question. When you connect the CR1000KD to a the CR1000, you will get a splash screen and then be taken to the home screen. Pressing ENTER will allow you to drill down into menus. Pressing ESC backs you out. Pressing UP while on the home screen turns the backlight on and off without having to manually turn it on in the Display menu.

The CR1000KD works well with others CR1000.
As I can full activate the CR1000KD, without having to delete any record of my CR1000?..

i had the same problem due to the DCE interface was connected to the data logger end up side down. check it whether data logger/ DCE device side of the interface is connected correctly.
As I told you before, I guess the problem is with the configuration of the CR1000KD; I tried to fix it following your email steps, but I had no results about it. (I tried with the cable).
Besides that, the CR1000KD worked perfectly with the CR1000 but when I put the Display SubMenu, the screen turned off and now it just shows the welcome screen.
I haven´t found anything in the manual for restoring the factory settings from the CR1000KD. I tried manually and with a PC, but I don´t have results.
Where is the CR1000KD configuration? Is it inside the CR1000KD or maybe inside CR1000? I mean the contrast, screen turn off time, etc. Maybe here is problem.
