AM16/32 Mutiplexer programmin

Leonardo Apr 20, 2009 09:30 PM

Hi,

I am trying to program a AM16/32 Multiplexer to log several MPS1 matric potential sensors from Decagon, with a CR1000 campbell logger. However, when I use the wizard to program it, the multiplexer does not have an option for selecting halfbridge connections (with excitation for the mps1), and the manual is not that easy to follow as there are no programming examples.

I tried to program the logger directly, using the halfbridge function and the normal codes for turning on and off the multiplexer but the excitation never reaches the sensors.

What can I do? can I use full bridge or single ended connections instead?

Is there an example script for programming AM16/32B for halfbridge connections??

Thanks,

Decagon offers a set of SCWin files on their web site that support the MPS-1 on CSI dataloggers:

http://www.decagon.com/home/downloads.php

Scroll to:

EchoCSI.zip - SCWin (ShortCut) to Read EC-5, -10, and -20, MPS-1, and 10HS Sensors with CSI Dataloggers

Dana

Dear Dana,

Thanks a lot for your help. The ScWin files worked perfectly.

Best,
