fdec Nov 7, 2011 03:15 PM

hello
everybody

i have a litle problem with the campbell CSGPRS kit
we originally communicate with CSGSM kit and all is ok

so, by GPRS, we cannot have communication.
the GPRS led does not blinking and in the PDF file realease by andrew standford it's noted that there is no established communication with the operator.
or the chip has been used and works very well in GSM.
have you any idea?
failed hardware?

i have program loggernet 3.3 like the pdf file with our access code and IP address and open a port in our router.

while waiting to read you

IF the status LED is on continuosly this can only indicate one of a few problems:

a) the SIM card is not inserted correctly - if it is a recent modem make sure the switch on the SIM socket is pushed across after inserting the card. Check the SIM card is in the right way up too.

b) the SIM card is not compatible with the modem. Make sure it is not a 3G only SIM card.

c) the aerial is not plugged in or there is no signal coverage.

dear aps
thanks for your answer
so i have verified all your answer

and i'm sure the sim car are correctly inserted, we hear the "tic" and the card are prisoner. and i have push the switch

actually i test the gprs in a city and the coverage are good!

so, the problem may be the sim card is incompatible

when i have order my sim card, i have bought a sim card for data only. do you think it's the problem?
