Has anyone tried interfacing a Vaisala DRD11A Precipitation detector with a Campbell CR-1000 datalogger? If so, can you share any information on wiring and code?

I have never used one but their brochure can be found at:

From the information in the brochure it appears the sensor can be measure in three ways:
-set up as a simple on/off (rain/no rain) using the open collector wired to a control port.
-with a SE or Diff voltage measurement of the 1 to 3 volt (wet to dry) analog output.
or
-with a frequency pulse input set to Hz output (1600 to 6000 Hz).
