RTMC Display

RichardG Apr 8, 2009 08:40 AM

I currently run an RTMC display from my CR10x logger, this works very well but there are a couple of display issues

1. Barometer Pressure shows as 1,022.9mb instead of 1022.9mb

2. Time display for a reading shows for example 745 instead of 0745am. (eg; Wind Gust 288' 11 knots at 745)

Is there anyway to change these or is it something that needs changing in the RTMC program?

Best Wishes

RTMC Pro 3.0 allows for more control over the way numbers are displayed via a FormatFloat function. The FormatFloat function is not available in the currently released RTMC Development that comes with LoggerNet 3.4.1. It will be available in the RTMC Development that will ship with LoggerNet 4.0. If you need the capability now then RTMC Pro 3.0 is your answer.

Technically there's another option but it's not much of an option. RTMC formats numbers according to the format specified in the Windows Regional Settings. You could change the regional settings to not use commas as separators but I don't think you'll be able to change them such that you get a leading zero four digits out on an integer. Eliminating the comma separator from regional settings will effect how numbers are displayed in all of your applications. That's probably not desirable either.
