Spontaneous version mismatch in SCWin

SMullen Sep 25, 2008 07:08 PM

I've recently had a problem with Short Cut running under LoggerNet Admin. On trying to compile changes to an existing program I was told that I had a version mismatch in default.plt. I also had missing graphics and non-printing characters in the "choose a datalogger" dialog box when I tried to start a program from scratch. The only cure was to remove and re-install the software. This was about two weeks ago. The system has been up and running 24/7 since with RTMC keeping an eye on a couple of local stations; data is logged every 30 seconds. Yesterday I tried to make a minor change to a program and got the same symptoms, and the same fix. I'm running 3.4.1 with August 08 updates under WinXP. Chkdsk came up clean. Has anyone else had this problem?

Many thanks.

Steve

I feel there's more to this story than meets the eye. Call Campbell Scientific and ask to speak with Glen in the Software Support Group.
