Three programs are included for the ClariVue 20 submersible turbidity sensor. One program uses the M1! SDI-12 command to make measurements and calculate turbidity statistics (median, mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum) and mean temperature. A second program uses an analog differential voltage measurement to read the ClariVue 20. Because the analog output requires the sensor to continuously measure turbidity and power the DAC, the sensor will not go to a low power state while in this mode. Subsequently, the current draw is significantly higher with analog out than with the digital protocols. A third program uses Modbus to communicate with the sensor.  When using Modbus, the ClariVue 20 can go into low power mode between measurements, which may require sending a command to wake the sensor before making another measurement. These programs were written for a CR1000Xe, but other dataloggers are programmed similarly. Voltage ranges, channel numbers, or other parameters may need to be changed to reflect the specifications of the datalogger.
